Stratford is well known as the home to some of Cairns' most popular restaurants.  You'll find several  of them,as well as an Aussie Pub with bistro within a 2 to10 minute stroll from Lilybank.

Most of our local restaurants are B.Y.O. and our local hotel has a well stocked cellar.

The Garden Room is rich in atmosphere and beautifully prepared food.

The Barron River Hotel and Rivers Wine Bar & Cafe.
Buy your wine etc. in the cellar and enjoy a meal at Rivers.

If you're here long enough to want a change from these, it's only a short bus or taxi ride into the city centre - we can recommend restaurants to suit every palate.

Getting to Lilybank from the Airport couldn't be easier - a 10 minute taxi ride for a cost of around $16.00 - and it's much the same from the bus and train terminals.
And once you're here, a regular bus service to the city centre goes right past our door, and that will also have you in City Place in around 10 minutes or so at a cost of around $2.60 per person.
